Daniel was born in Midland Texas and attended college at the University of Oklahoma.  He completed his law degree in Fort Worth from Texas Wesleyan (now Texas A&M School of Law). Daniel is married to Allison and has 3 children (Parker, Kate, and Abigail). He graduated from law school in 2008. He began practicing in oil & gas industry. In 2009 he joined the largest bankruptcy law firm in Texas and eventually became the senior attorney. In 2012, he started his own firm with a partner and later split from his partner to form Herrin Law in 2015.

Daniel was featured as a Top Attorney in Forth Worth Magazine. He has helped over 8,000 individuals and families navigate legal challenges. Daniel is blessed with an amazing family. His wife, Allison, graduated from Texas Tech. Daniel and Allison met while Daniel was in law school. In 2011 Daniel and Allison married. They now have 3 amazing (most of the time) children. Parker, Kate and Abigail. They are 2 years apart, and without Allison, Daniel would be lost.
