Manolo Santiago

Managing Attorney

Manolo was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico and attended college at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus. He completed his law degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico graduating in 2009. He began practicing in the real estate and commercial transactions field. In 2010 he joined the law firm of the Ex-Governor of Puerto Rico, Hernández Mayoral CSP, as an off Counsel. This gave him the opportunity to be hired as the Lead Counsel of the bankruptcy division of Ortiz & Vazquez Law Offices back in 2012. In 2015, he started the law firm Rivera-Velez & Santiago in Puerto Rico with a partner until his eventual move to Dallas, Texas in April 2018 when he entered Herrin Law as and Associated Attorney in 2018 and was promoted in December 2020 as his current position of Managing Attorney.

Manolo arrived at Dallas because of the destruction in Puerto Rico from hurricane Maria back in September 2017. His office was destroyed, the courts were out of work for months and he took the hard decision to leave everything behind and start again. He needed the fresh start that he so much wants our clients to get.

Manolo is blessed with a supportive family. His wife, Valerie, is a Microbiologist from the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico. Manolo and Valerie met while Manolo was still at law school and got married in 2009. They have 2 beautiful twin girls, Aurora, and Victoria, that give meaning to all this craziness that we call life.

Manolo is fluent in Spanish and loves to help our Latino Community in Texas.
